- San Diego Bay has 16 parks, featuring 10 playgrounds that are open to the public 365 days a year. Coronado Tidelands Park is a large park on the water with picnic areas, a playground and a skate park!

- Two museums - The Maritime Museum and the USS Midway Museum--are at home on the water of San Diego Bay. The carrier Midway can be seen from the bayside shoreline of Coronado.
