    Sand Dollar is located just inside the main gate at NAS North Island in the racquet ball courts, across from the commissary and NEX. Run by the Naval Officers' Spouses' Club of San Diego (NOSC), the shop sells high quality, unique, hard to find items. This private, non-profit organization is devoted to the support of military service personnel and their family members throughout San Diego County by raising money to sponsor scholarships and provide monetary support to various charities that support our local military families. Store hours: Tuesday & Friday 10:00am-2:00pm / Thursday 4:00pm-7:00pm / Saturday Noon-3:00pm.

    The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is constructing a world-class state-of-the-art advanced training skills facility at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. The center will serve military personnel who have been catastrophically disabled in operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The center will also serve military personnel and veterans severely injured in other operations and in the normal performance of their duties, combat and non-combat related.
