Coronado Unified School District has a comprehensive website and each school site within the district has a website, too.     The MWR Youth Programs Department operates the Silver Strand Recreation Center, offering a wide variety of recreation programs for military dependent children ages three to seventeen. The Recreation Center programs include a Before & After School Program (5-12 years), Day Camp/Intersession during summer vacation and holidays (5-12 years), and a Tiny Tot Program (3-5 years) as well as activities for teens.

    Coronado Little League is a non-profit organization that offers baseball and softball to Coronado boys and girls ages 5-16 years old. Regular season runs from February through July. Winter Baseball starts after Labor Day and runs for 8 weeks.

    A part of the City of Coronado's Recreation Department, Coronado's own skateboard park caters to all ages and levels of skateboarding experience. Located in Tidelands Park, next to the bridge, this facility has bowls, grinds, ramps and jumps. Equipment is available for rent.
