SUPER TIDES!

This is the time of the year when we see the lowest and highest tides of the year at our beaches and bays. The super high tides sometimes overflow onto the beach or the frontage road by Coronado Yacht Club. The extreme low tides expose geography we normally don’t get to see at the beach. Take a walk on the beach and check out the old ship wreck ‘Monte Carlo’ near the end of the Shores condos. Closer to the Hotel del Coronado you can explore the small tide pool area and walk out past the rocks where the waves normally break. Remember – at all tidepools, enjoy your exploration but PLEASE don’t disturb the inhabitants who live there!
