The Heritage Tour – 60 minute walking tour highlights some of Coronado’s architecturally and historically significant buildings. Fee is $10 and includes walking tour guidebook. Tours offered on Wednesdays at 10:30 am, meet in the lobby of the Coronado Historical Museum. Please call 619-437-8788 for more information or to schedule a tour. This tour is operated by the Coronado Visitor Center and the Coronado Museum.
Official Hotel del Coronado Tour – This historic walk through the structures and grounds of the Victorian hotel is the only tour approved and sanctioned by hotel management, and actually allowed inside the hotel. This tour is operated by the Coronado Visitor Center and Coronado Museum.” Beginning in front of the Grande Hall of the Hotel Del Coronado, this is a 1 hour tour of our historic jewel. Take a Walk around Coronado on your own. Did you know that it is 7 miles around the perimeter of Coronado? This includes going to the end of the Shores condos and around under the bridge. It is a beautiful walk that covers all sides of the “island” from the Bay to the Beach and back again. At a fast clip the distance can be covered in an hour and a half; otherwise, it is about a two hour walk for most people. Revel in our beautiful scenery while getting your exercise.
