This weekend the Optimist Club of Coronado will hosts its annual Big-Three Sports Fiesta at North Beach.
On Saturday, July 24 the 10K run will be held at 7:00am. At 11:00am the 1 mile swim will occur at North Beach.
On Sunday, July 25, the Optimist Sports Fiesta triathlon, the oldest, continuous-running triathlon in the US!, will be held at 7:30am. A 400 meter swim, 1 mile run and 4 mile bike ride is a fun event and doable for people who want to try their athletic prowess at a triathlon, but don’t want to do a full triathlon.
