Coronado Seniors Out and About Program

Volunteer drivers are wanted for the Coronado Seniors Out and About Program. The program provides scheduled rides to Coronado residents ages 60-plus for a nominal fee of up to $4 depending on the distance traveled.

The program is supported by the San Diego Association of Governments as part of the TransNet Senior Mini-grant Program and in response to the growing need of transportation to this vital community.  This grant makes this program possible and is dependent on a quota of the number of rides given to meet qualify, so the need for drivers cannot be stressed enough.

If you would you like to volunteer to drive for the program, please visit the Spreckels Center for details or call (619) 522-7343.  Please consider this very worthy use of your free time!

For more detailed information about the program and to apply to be a driver go to Out and About – City of Coronado
