Today is National Medal of Honor Day. In 1990 Congress designated March 25 of each year as Medal of Honor Day. This honor is only eligible to military personnel, living or posthumouly, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty.
The three medals below represent the Army (left), Navy (center) and Air Force (right).
