Navy Leap Frogs parachute in the night sky

The Navy’s elite parachute team, the Navy Leap Frogs, stationed at Naval Station Coronado,  practiced jumping routines over the base on Wednesday night.  Parachuting from a C-130 plane, the practice started in the late afternoon and continued into the evening.  Using flares after dark, the Navy jumpers created an eerie sight, prompting phone calls to the San Diego Police Department from concerned residents.       Read more here…….
