State extends alcohol ban at Silver Strand beach

The state is banning alcohol from Silver Strand between March 16 and Sept. 30, beginning this year. The action follows a disorderly, alcohol-fueled Fourth of July weekend at the beach and a more sedate Labor Day weekend under an experimental booze ban.        Read on for the complete story……….
